INFO:
FC Twente's club top scorer of all time, despite his average height, Jeuring was strong in the air and was always difficult to get off the ball, especially when standing with his back to the goal. He would then push his ass back and before you knew it the ball was already against the ropes. Tireless and with the right instinct for a goal, he liked to go back and tackle. Jeuring wasn't so good with the ball (a bit clumsy and slow) but had an accurate shot and knew how to protect the ball.

After van Dijk moved to Ajax Amsterdam, Jeuring was able to prove himself as a centre-forward and was part of Kees Rijvers' starting eleven. In the Eredivisie he scored 14 goals in 1969/70 and 17 goals the following season. His goals in the Fairs Cup also drew attention this season: he scored three goals in the 6-1 win over Eskişehirspor in the second round's second leg, while in the third round his winning goal against Dinamo Zagreb ensured FC Twente's quarterfinals against Juventus Turin was allowed to play and only left after extra time.

Twice Jeuring scored four goals in one game: in the 1970 Eredivisie against NAC Breda, in the 1972/73 UEFA Cup against Frem Copenhagen in a 5-0 first leg of the second round. In 1974, FC Twente finished runners-up in the Eredivisie for the first time. In the 1974/75 season, the Enschedern achieved their greatest international success to date: with a win over Juventus Turin - Jeuring contributed a goal in the semi-final first leg to a 3-1 victory - the team reached the finals of the UEFA Cup, but were defeated against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the following Eredivisie season he managed a personal best of 20 league goals, with which he was top FC Twente goalscorer of the season for the fourth time. Jeuring played for FC Twente until the end of the 1976/77 season and concluded his professional career with the only title: the KNVB Cup for the first time by beating PEC Zwolle 3-0 after extra time; Jeuring also entered the list of goalscorers in the final game. It was his last goal in the last game for FC Twente and as a professional; overall, Jeuring made 327 Eredivisie appearances for the Enschede club, scoring 103 goals. There are also 32 and UEFA Cup appearances with 19 goals and 16 goals in the KNVB Cup competition. In his own estimation, the best of these is one from 19 October 1975. After a long throw-in by Harry Bruggink, which was headed by a team-mate, he scored his second goal with an overhead kick in the 2-0 win against Feyenoord.

Jeuring made his debut in the National Team in 1971 in a European Championship qualifier against the East German selection; he came on for Dick van Dijk in the 71st minute of the game in his team's 3-2 win at De Kuip. Like his Enscheder teammates Drost, Pahlplatz and Piet Schrijvers, Jeuring was part of coach František Fadrhonc's extended squad, but he had to wait a year and a half for his second assignment. It was not until 1973 that he made his only international match over 90 minutes. In the following games, Jeuring sat on the Elftal bench several times, but the coach never sent him back onto the field. His hopes of being called up to the squad for the World Cup in Germany were dashed by two groin injuries within six months in the 1973/74 season.
