Right back, can be used as a stopper or midfielder. Very elegant with long legs. He would play on both full-back positions (mostly right back however). Started out as a midfielder, but Rijvers put him on the defensive (at first, front stopper), because he fell short in midfield. in the PSV team Krijgh became a valuable right defender who also plays in the heart of the defence. But Krijgh is not a standout player. He is calm in the field and does his job. He was called "attacking right back" because he wore #10.
In 1972, Krijgh signed with PSV Eindhoven, where he would spend most of his career. He won his first trophy with PSV by winning the 1974 Dutch Cup. The following season, he was crowned Dutch champion for the first time, while also reaching the semi-finals of the Cup Winners' Cup. He honors his only two international caps with the national team in 1975, against Poland and Italy. In the European Cup the following year, he again reached the semi-finals. He also achieved the double championship - Cup the same year, signing a second victory in each of these competitions. After a year without a title, Kees Krijgh won a third title with PSV in 1978, the highlight during this period being the final of the UEFA Cup in 1978, in which PSV defeated French side SC Bastia.
