INFO:He's one of the best Polish goalkeepers of the 1970s. Everyone praised him for his reliability and the fact that he usually does not make mistakes. Not so good at catching the ball, otherwise fine reflex and shot stopping ability.
In 1973 and 1976 he won the Polish national championship with Mielec. His greatest international successes at club level were appearances in the 1973/74 and 1976/77 European Champion Clubs' Cups and reaching the quarter-finals of the 1975/76 UEFA Cup. In 1981 he moved to the Greek professional league, A' Ethniki to the Athens club Apollon Smyrnis , where he ended his professional career in 1983. He played for the Poland national football team and participated in the 1978 FIFA World Cup plus qualifying and established himself as the first team goalkeeper for the Euro 1980 qualifying.
