INFO:
Fantastic reflex, a very fast and jumpy goalkeeper. Smart and intelligent keeper. As per his words: "after the 78' WC, I became a much better goalkeeper, but I couldn't play in the team again, even though I think I could have been selected 50 or 60 times for the national team. I was a fast goalkeeper, my technical mistakes came from the fact that no one taught me how to defend, I learned everything from my own mistakes. I instinctively defended it, like everyone else at the time, because there was no serious technical training at that time."

It's true, at first it didn't even cross his mind that he would be a goalkeeper on "dry land", in fact he was proud of his skill with the ball and the fact that he was already able to score a goal at the age of eight. But when the goalkeeper of the children's team was injured, he, a player with long arms even at a young age, was accidentally ordered to the goal line , and this practically ended his career. Started in Szentes, he then moved to the capital in 1974. With Honved, he became champion once (1979–1980), second twice (1974–1975, 1977–1978) and won the Cup in 1977. He was also a part of international successes, reaching the finals of the Central European Cup in two competitions, and the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup in the 1978-1979 series with the Honvéd. The goal of the team from Kispest was protected in 247 league matches, 94 of which he did not concede a goal! He kept the most number of times (nineteen times) in the 1977-1978 season without a goal. He last played for the Honvéd in the summer of 1982, in the match against Rába ETO in Kispest, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He appeared in a total of 303 championships in the top flight (in the colors of Szeged and Honvéd).
One year after he moved to Greece to play for Aris Thessaloniki, his professional career was cut short by a serious head injury.

He made his debut in the national eleven in March 1976, in the team that defeated the Argentines 2-0 at the Népstadion, and did not concede a goal in the first three matches. Bayern Munich's Swede Conny Torstensson opened the scoring in Stockholm (1-1). In 1977, he defended the goal of the Hungarian team in all five World Cup qualifiers, and in the Argentina Mundial, he was in goal in the opening match against the home team and in the third group match against the French. He last defended in the national team in the fall of 1979, in the Austria-Hungary (3-1) match. In total, he appeared in the Hungarian national team 25 times between 1976 and 1979.

Thank you! Does that mean that you will soon release the missing players of Hungary 1978?
