Famous for his great will to fight and his energetic runs at right back, he was an extremely hard-working, persistent and competitive footballer. He performed his protective duties with determination and confidence. Originally a right winger and then right midfielder (because Fabian was the right back), he helped the attacks excellently with his frequent runs and was often successful himself. Attacking full back with an excellent and sharp cross, tough, save, Hungarian Facchetti would be written about him. He had enough speed for run-ups and wasn't afraid of duels either.

He played 349 league games and scored 10 goals for Vasas Budapest in the Hungarian league. He also played in the second Spanish league for the team Recreativo de Huelva and, after returning from a foreign engagement, in the second Hungarian league for the team Volán SC. He won the championship title with Vasas SC in 1977, won the Hungarian Cup with the same team in 1973 and 1981, and the Central European Cup in 1970 .
