INFO:Strong build, well-positioned back guard. His impeccable kicking technique and head game stopped many, many attacks. He was a relentlessly fighting, persistent player. He played energetically but extremely cultured.
He made his debut in adult football in 1969, playing for the team "Peč", in which he spent six seasons, taking part in 157 matches of the championship. Most of the time spent in Honved was the main player of the team's defense.
With his game for this team, he attracted the attention of representatives of the coaching staff of the Honved club, which he joined in 1975. He played for the club from Pecs for the next six seasons of his playing career. While playing for Pecha, he also mostly appeared on the field in the main team and in 1978 was recognized as the footballer of the year, and in the 1979/80 season he won his only Hungarian championship title with the team. Subsequently, from 1981 to 1983, he played for the Belgian Lierse, after which he returned to Hungary and in the 1983/1984 season played for Sopron in the second division.
On October 15, 1977, he made his debut in official matches as part of the Hungarian national team in a friendly game against Yugoslavia (4:3). As part of the national team, he was a participant of the 1978 World Cup in Argentina , where he played two matches — with Argentina (1:2) and Italy (1:3). In total, during his career in the national team, which lasted 7 years, he played 20 matches in its uniform.
