INFO:
One of the historical "goleadors" of Montpellier, he's the 2nd top scorer in history of MSHC after L.Blanc. During his Monaco years, with whom he won a French championship title, he is a striker found everywhere, on both wings and centre forward position. He overflows, he shoots, he excels in the air game with excellent headers. He has a fine response and very good shot technique, fine crossing, however lacks only a little mastery in front of goal and a bit better physique. Not a player of great talent, but The Monegasque coach highly appreciates his profile as a collective player with a strong temperament that led him to the gates of the France team. Rather fast, Valadier really appreciates changes of pace in order to deceive the opponent. Although not a prolific goalscorer, he has the habit of scoring important goals. During his two seasons at AS Monaco, Jean-Marc Valadier perfectly fulfills his role as first substitute for the offensive sector.

Trained at Montpellier club AS Saint Martin, he began his professional career at Montpellier PSC, he then played two seasons for Olympique Lyonnais, where he was started by Aimé Jacquet alongside Jean Gallice and Daniel Xuereb and scored 6 goals in 30 league games. The following year was much more difficult for the club who had to go through the play-offs to stay in the first division. OL saved their place by beating Division 2 club Olympique Avignonnais eight goals to four over the two games, including a goal from Valadier, out of total of 8 he scored that season.

In 1980, he was exchanged for Alain Moizan and joined AS Monaco. In a role of first substitute in attack, he won with the Monegasques the championship of France in 1982 scoring 6 goals in 21 appearances. He then returned to the club of his professional debut, playing mostly in the D2, where he ended his career with a France second division title in 1987.

Thanks mate, with this set you're close to complete your post for the team which wons the french championsship for the season 1981-1982, year of the world cup.

Considering the players used during this season are missing :

Guy Mengal (forward-3 matches)
Serge Recordier (midfielder-10 matches)
Jacques Pérais (defender-29 matches)
Thierry Ninot (defender-28 matches)
André Amitrano (Goalkeeper-1 match)

I made set projects for this players based on readings and short video extracts that I can send to you one day if you wish.

Take care
