Wait, what?. Suarez isn't named here, probably have him in first squad can't be thinked but I'm 100 % sure that he had won his place at least among reserves. Suarez probably is the best foreigner player Liverpool ever had in this current Premier League format.
Tbh, I don't think that Liverpool fans dislike for Owen has to be taken like an argument for wipe him out. Owen at his prime was an amazing forward. Owen is one of those brilliant talents, once in a decade talents that legacy has become lost from the public perspective because his career haven't hit the heights his talent should've reached. Everyone who has watched him closely for all his Liverpool era knows how good he was, I have an accurate picture of both; Owen and Fowler, and been honest they're so different, the only point were they could be equal its in terms of shoot technique.

I agree about Suàrez but in reserves. Owen shouldn't be taken out from the first squad in my opinion.

Good update. Maybe Alisson Becker deserves a mention in reserves just like Van Dijk. Two times elected to FIFA team and 1 time elected the best goalkeeper for UEFA, Yashin Pride and FIFA the best. The impact of the Brazilian is even more relevant if we consider the disaster that was Karius before him.

Others spent much much more time with the club and there's no need for five reserve goalkeepers.

Can't really argue with any of these picks, Hendo definitely deserves the first team place. Maybe van Dijk after a few more years will too.
Edit - Usually theres two flags for dual nationality players on here, Gordon Hodgson was South African/English

Feel gutted for Gini. Not to say he was outstanding, but he was an important gear throughout that successful period. By the way, I'm not sure why there's a pattern for reserves (4-15-15-15). I support it about national teams and it's nice of course to avoid a mess, but I'm a little cautious some won't get the mention they deserve, like Gini. Or, especially, some goalkeepers could be missed out, since 4 is too tight sometimes. I shall agree Alisson could wait, but if, let's say, Liverpool extends their trophy case and he has fairly contributed to it, I wouldn't like to see him displacing one of the guys above. Still, you made good work.

Or, especially, some goalkeepers could be missed out, since 4 is too tight sometimes. As it's been mentioned in other posts, there's not a specific pattern to follow except the one that we use for national teams. You can see teams with less than 4-15-15-15 reserves and others with more. If we used, for example, a 5-20-20-20 pattern, all teams would be nearly like top-100 players, which we're avoiding. After all, you probably can find that in journalistic websites at least for big teams. Also, the list counts 71 players, which is quite a high number. Last but not least, one of the reasons why era teams exist is that you may find there a player that you're missing in the all stars version of a specific club.

Sorry to miss those mentions. Without any deep research I feel like Liverpool's history dictates more players than 71. About reserves, 5-20-20-20 seems an ideal limit by the way. Of course keep it as low as possible, but I wouldn't mind one player being added to the fifteen. Besides I don't see why each position should have the same number. I know not every team works with this order but I am talking beforehand for future updates. I also know I can visit other sites as well, but this forum is tidy (and reliable). Anyways I understood your points. Thanks.
