BalancedINFO:Rodrigo Aliendro is an Argentine footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in Merlo, Buenos Aires (16/02/1991), he started his professional career for Chacarita Juniors in 2011. From July 2013 to June 2014 he was on loan playing in the fourth category of Argentine football for Ituzaingó. He worked delivering pizza at night and training in the morning, since in the Primera C, salaries are not enough to maintain a family playing football. Aliendro only won a starting spot for the
funebrero in 2015, with Chacarita playing in the Primera B Nacional, the second category of Argentine football. In 2016, Aliendro signed with Atlético Tucumán, his first excursion in the First Division. At Atlético he was considered a "silent idol", since despite maintaining a low profile, he dazzled with very high performances at the best moment in the history of the Tucumán club. In June 2019 he signed for Colón de Santa Fe. He arrived at the club and quickly became an undisputed starter, being a key part of the team that was runner-up in the 2019 Copa Sudamericana (missing the final against Independiente del Valle due to injury). In June 2021, Colón was crowned champion of the 2021 Copa de la Liga by defeating Racing Club 3-0 in the final, and Aliendro was part of the Ideal Team of that year. In June 2022 he signed with River Plate, arriving on a free transfer, and finally, playing for a big club, he consolidated his position as one of the best midfielders in Argentina.
One of Atlético Tucumán's and Colón de Santa Fe's greatest players ever, Aliendro played 116 games and scored 10 goals for the Tucumán institution and played 97 games with 8 goals for the red and black team.
