BalancedINFO:Rafael Delgado is an Argentinian footballer who plays both as a left-back and as a center-back. Born in Reconquista, Santa Fe (13/01/1990), he started his professional career at Rosario Central in 2011, who were playing in the Second Division back then. After 53 games in the second category of Argentinian football, Delgado got promoted in the 2013 season and kept playing for the
canallas for two more years before being sold to Estudiantes (LP). In 2015 he would join recently promoted Defensa y Justicia, where he would become an idol. He played for the green and yellow team until the 2017-18 season when he tried his luck abroad and played 15 games for Atlético Nacional. He would play one more season in Florencio Varela until 2020 when he signed for C.A. Colón. At Delgado's own request, Colón had to loan him back to Defensa y Justicia so that Delgado could play in the 2020 Copa Sudamericana with the
falcon, which he would eventually end up winning and being part of the
Team of the Tournament. Delgado returned to Santa Fe to be part of the first champion team in the history of Colón, winning the 2021 Copa de la Liga, and ended up remaining in the red and black club until the end of 2023, when Colón sadly got relegated to the Second Division. Nowadays, he plays for C.A. Belgrano of the Primera División.
