Attack-MindedINFO:Christian Bernardi is an Argentine footballer who can play in various positions. Born in Córdoba (10/03/1990), in 2008 he began his career as a footballer playing in Instituto de Córdoba's reserve, where he remained until the end of 2010, when he was incorporated into Gimnasia de Entre Ríos to play in the Torneo Argentino A. In 2012 he returned to Instituto, where he would stay for six seasons, all of them in the Second Division. In 2016 he joined Colón de Santa Fe for a $1.5M fee. In the red-and-black institution, he would stay for six seasons, becoming one of the longest-tenured players in the team's history. He was part of one of the most successful eras in Colón, reaching the 2019 Copa Sudamericana final, and winning the 2021 Copa de la Liga, the first championship in the team's history, scoring a goal in the final. In the 2022-23 season, he signed for Fortaleza EC in Brazil but ultimately did not play any games as he was discovered a heart condition that prevented him from playing. 467 days after his last official game on October 24th, 2022, he returned to Colón de Santa Fe to help them get promoted to the First Division again.
He is a very versatile player, he can play in all midfield positions, as well as as a winger or second striker. He has excellent ball control, and while he is not an exceptionally fast winger, he is a good dribbler. When he plays on the wing, he often cuts inside and passes the ball, while when he plays in the middle, which he also usually does, he makes frequent diagonals toward the area looking to receive through passes, and also often shoots the ball from far. He was never a skilled passer, in fact, it was one of the things that was criticized the most during his professional career; his inability to shoot crosses. Despite this, he was a player with a very high volume of crosses per game which compensated for his low efficiency.
