Cristian David Lucchetti is a former Argentinian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza (26/06/1978), he started his professional career in 1996, playing for C.A. Banfield. Lucchetti, in addition to being a renowned penalty saver, is an excellent penalty kicker, having scored 20 goals in the First Division solely through this method. Lucchetti is the most important goalkeeper in the history of C.A. Banfield and Atlético Tucumán, with more than 600 games played between both teams. In addition, Lucchetti also defended the colors of Racing Club, Santos Laguna of Mexico, and Boca Juniors with great success. Lucchetti would retire in Gimnasia y Esgrima (J) in 2022 after more than 26 years of career, being one of the most veteran players in the history of Argentine football.
