Born in Boedo, Buenos Aires (23/01/1907), he began his sports career on June 7, 1925, in a 2-1 victory for San Lorenzo over Liberal Argentino where he scored both goals. García is one of the historical legends of C.A. San Lorenzo de Almagro, as with 169 goals in 314 matches, he is the second-highest goalscorer in the club’s history. He was a prolific scorer, forming a memorable attacking partnership with left-winger Arturo Arrieta, in a team that remained unbeaten for 47 matches, spanning 20 months from April 18, 1926, until December 31, 1927. That squad eventually secured the club’s first official title in the 1927 Amateur First Division Championship, after winning their last five matches and overcoming a 9-point deficit against Boca Juniors, who had completed their participation earlier. In 1931, García scored the first goal of the professional era. He was a champion and scored 22 goals in the 1933 First Division tournament, including the title-clinching goal on the final matchday against Chacarita Juniors, being this the first Professional Tournament won by San Lorenzo. He continued playing until 1940, remaining a standout figure both on and off the field. He also won the 1927 Copa Aldao and the 1936 First Division tournament. Total career statistics: San Lorenzo (1925 - 1940) - 314 games, 169 goals. Argentina National Team (1935 - 1936) - 5 games, 4 goals.

I think you under rated him, he has a very good scoring ratio and is a club legend, considering the very low 70 stamina you might upgrade other key stats by 3 or 4 points

He was a top player in this era, but he was never the best inside forward in the country and was never close to being so (Ferreira, Scopelli, or Cherro, for example, were much better). San Lorenzo at the time was a very offensive team, and throughout all these years, it stayed in the top 3 teams with the most goals scored in each tournament, particularly for their aggressive style of play, which surely benefited this kind of forwards like García, Arrieta or Magán, hence the high goal scoring ratio. The low STA is, for me, more customary for players of this era of amateur football in Argentina, and since no source stated anything particular regarding his work rate or stamina, I assumed he was average in that department. If you have any particular suggestion about which values could be increased/decreased I would gladly appreciate it.

For stamina Labruna has 73 and he was an hardcore smoker that, according to Loustau, gave him such stamina problem, an average value can be 75 unless Garcia was reported to have such problems too
