Félix Pacheco was an Argentine footballer who played as a full-back, an old term for what we now call a central defender. Born in Córdoba, Argentina, on May 18, 1906, he began his football journey playing recreationally for his company's team, Aguas Saldán, headquartered in the city of the same name, about 18 kilometers from the provincial capital. In 1927, Pacheco was signed by Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba, which was experiencing its golden years at the time. He quickly established himself as a regular starter for the team, which had just won two consecutive Liga Cordobesa championships. His performances also earned him a call-up to the Córdoba local selection. During his time at Instituto, Pacheco played 71 matches and won two Liga Cordobesa titles in 1927 and 1928, contributing to the club's most successful period in history. With the advent of professionalism in Argentine football in 1931, Pacheco was recruited by C.A. San Lorenzo de Almagro in Buenos Aires, where the team was looking to strengthen its defense. His consistent performances soon made him a fixture in the starting lineup, and he was even given the captain's armband in some matches. In 1933, he formed a memorable partnership with San Lorenzo legend José Hipólito Fossa, and together they led the team to win the 1933 Primera División Championship, marking the club's first professional title. Pacheco played for San Lorenzo until 1935, totaling 129 matches. In 1936, he signed with Platense but only played two games before retiring from football. Additionally, he was part of the Argentine national team that prepared for the 1934 World Cup in Italy.
