Phạm Thành Lương (born September 10, 1988) played as a forward or an attacking midfielder. After emerging through ACB Hanoi's youth academy and spending seven seasons with the senior side, he moved to Hanoi T&T in December 2012. Since then, he went on to become a mainstay for Hanoi FC, and had won 12 major honours, including five V.League 1 titles, three Vietnamese Cups and four Vietnamese Super Cups. At international level, Thành Lương won 78 caps for Vietnam, and was part of the squads which won 2008 AFF Championship.
Thành Lương is a skillful player. He possesses decent speed, exceptional ball control and passing ability. He is comfortable on both wings or in the midfield. He's a good playmaker who can place accurate balls, especially with his crossings either during active play or from set piece. Capable to execute deadly free kicks and threatening long range drive shots. He scored many goal with his powerful and curled shots.
