Alan Sealey was a quick and direct winger who played over 150 league games for West Ham United between 1958 and 1967. His finest moment came in the 1965 European Cup Winners' Cup final, where he scored both goals in a 2-0 win over 1860 Munich. Sadly, a serious leg injury just months later ended his top-level career, leading to brief spells at Plymouth Argyle and Bristol City before retiring early.

Sealey was originally a centre forward but converted to an outside right after Ron Greenwood found his tendency to drift wide. Sammy was known for his fine turn of pace, decent dribbling and goal-scoring ability. Unlike traditional wingers, he often cut inside to shoot rather than just cross.
