Info:

He started playing for Sport Boys in 1942, making his debut in a friendly against Newell's Old Boys of Argentina, and at the end of the year he was crowned champion in his first season. In 1951, he won his second national title, wearing the pink jersey, alongside other figures such as his friend Valeriano López, Manuel Drago, Pedro, and Guillermo Valdivieso.

He traveled to Colombia with other Peruvian footballers during the "El Dorado" era, where he was runner-up with Deportivo Cali in 1949, scoring 19 goals and being one of the championship's top scorers. He later played successfully for Alianza Lima, achieving a second championship (1954-1955) and forming the so-called "Nuevo Rodillo Negro" (New Black Roller) alongside "Vides" Mosquera, Valeriano López, Félix Castillo, and Óscar Gómez Sánchez.

He was the father of Gerónimo Barbadillo, who was a Peruvian national team player in the 1970s. He died on October 20, 2000.

Spoiler: show
- Deportivo Cali was Barbadillo's next destination. It happened during the Colombian "Dorado" era in 1949, when the "Azucarero" team had eleven Peruvian players on the roster that year. Don "Willy" played 25 matches during the season and scored 19 goals, making him the team's second-highest scorer (behind Valeriano) and fifth in the championship. Cali finished runner-up, losing the title in a 3-2 playoff against Millonarios.

- He was a striker with remarkable skill and was one of the most outstanding footballers of the 1940s and 1950s. Playing as a right midfielder, he was Valeriano López's partner at Sport Boys in those years.

- The team coached by Alfonso Huapaya won the title with an average of over three goals per game, with Barbadillo, whose technique was unsettling.

- He formed a legendary duo with Valeriano López, whom he reunited with at Alianza Lima. With the Blue and Whites, 'Willy' won two more titles, in 1954 and 1955. Because of his speed, he was nicknamed the 'Bicycle Man' in Colombian football.

- He is a skilled and dexterous forward who was ahead of his time with his astonishing power and goal-scoring vision.

Create public sets of the players in the hidden section but using very little information based on assumptions and also formulating hypotheses with the little that can be found on the Internet.
