His last match in a cream-colored jersey was on Sunday, May 12, 1940, in a goalless draw against Alianza Lima in the Lima Amateur Tournament. With the Peruvian national team, the brave defender played 18 matches and was part of the team that won the Bolivarian Games in Colombia in 1938 and the South American Championship in Peru in 1939. He also competed in the World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930, the South American Championship in Peru in 1935, the Berlin Olympics in 1936, and the South American Championship in Argentina in 1937. After playing for Colo Colo in Chile for a season, Fernández retired from football in 1941 and began his career as coach of Universitario from that year until 1951 and, subsequently, from 1954 until March 1958. As coach, the brother of our greatest idol, "Lolo" Fernández, won the championship in 1941, 1945, 1946, and 1949. Hi, I'd like to ask an experienced team builder: When referring to a defense with a quick exit, should he emphasize speed and acceleration more, or his reactivity?

It's hard to say. I have two interpretations of the text:
Either he refers to "quick exit" as "quick exit with the ball." This would slightly influence his DS and, to an even lesser extent, his ACC, but considering the average level of defenders of his era and the low level of his league, I wouldn't go with very high values. If it isn't that, it would be "quick team exit," and it would influence his SPA and TW equally. Likewise, in both cases, the player should see more RES. |
