Info:

Bielich began practicing soccer in a children's team called Piloto Olímpico, then went on to "Juventud Perú" and "Alianza Floral". In 1936 he arrived at Universitario de Deportes, where he was a teammate of players such as Teodoro Fernández, Mario Pacheco, Carlos Tovar and Alberto Baldovino. In 1938 he joined Deportivo Municipal, where he remained for two years and won a title.

He was capped five times by the Peruvian national team and scored four goals. He made his debut on August 11, 1938 in a match valid for the second date of the soccer championship of the Bolivarian Games of 1938 against the national team of Ecuador, which ended with a score of 9-1 in favor of the Peruvians. He was part of the squad that won the 1939 South American Championship title. His last match with the national team was played on February 12, 1939 in a 2-1 victory over Uruguay.

Spoiler: show
- In that team, ‘Pichín’ began to capture all eyes due to his mischievous play and his surprising effectiveness in front of the net.

- In that season, ‘Pichín’ formed part of the attack as a left insider alongside ‘Lolo’ Fernández, and flanked by Mario Pacheco, Carlos Tovar and ‘Pibe’ Baldovino. The Cremas did not fare well, finishing third behind Sport Boys and Alianza Lima, and even suffered a historic 6-0 thrashing at the hands of the emerging Deportivo Municipal, who were playing in the top flight for the first time that year.

- Unlike what he did in the ‘U’, in ‘Muni’ he started playing as an inside right, forming a wing with Quiñónez.
Pichin', who was a great ground striker, controlled the ball with both feet equally, before taking powerful shots.
That match on February 12, 1939 at 17:25 -despite the fact that the sun was shining all day long- Peru began to win against Uruguay at 7' with a goal by ‘Campolo’ Alcalde. And at 35', the legend: a cross to the heart of the Charrúa area, in the South goal of the old wooden National Stadium, was connected by Bielich with a pumped header straight into the goal of goalkeeper Graneros.
