Roberto Brum was a defensive midfielder, starting his career at Fluminense in 1998 and later being negociated to Coritiba in 2002, where he stod out and caught attention of Europe, moving to Portugal where he played Académica de Coimbra and SC Braga. And then returning to Brazil, playing for Santos between 2008-2010, gaining the São Paulo State Championship of 2010.
Roberto Brum was not technically gifted player, like Neymar, nor a very intense defensive midfielder, like Felipe Melo. He was pretty average, having a a good space ocupation awareness, positioning in the midfield and decent passing, being good enough to be in starting squad without compromissing the team's overall capability.
