Everton was a Brazilian striker who built a long career in Dutch football, especially at Heracles Almelo, the club where he became an idol. With a combative, technical and intelligent playstyle, Everton was a versatile player in the offensive sector, able to play as a center forward, winger or second striker. He stood out for his constant movement, sense of positioning, finishing ability and commitment on the field. He joined Heracles in 2006 and over the course of seven seasons, established himself as one of the club's greatest scorers in the history of the Eredivisie, contributing decisive goals and consistent performances, even away from the spotlight of the big teams. Although he never played for any major clubs in Brazil or Europe, Everton was recognized for his consistency and strong connection with the Heracles fans, who valued his dedication and identification with the club, becoming one of (if not the most) import player in the club's recent history.
