Enes Ünal is a Turkish striker of good stature, physical presence and goal-scoring instinct, known for his constant evolution in European football and for being one of the main offensive hopes of the Turkish national team in the 2020s. Revealed by Bursaspor, he debuted as a professional while still a teenager and quickly attracted international attention, being signed by Manchester City in 2015 as a bet for the future, although he never played for the English club.

His development involved several loan spells, with a special highlight being his time at FC Twente in the 2016–17 season, where he enjoyed his first major moment in European football. At the Dutch club, Ünal scored 18 goals in the Eredivisie, impressing with his ability to finish with either foot, good positioning, intelligent movement and personality to lead the attack despite his youth. His technical performance and maturity attracted attention, making him one of the most promising center forwards in the league that season.

After his success in the Netherlands, he was transferred to Villarreal in Spain, where he alternated between loan spells and attempts to establish himself in La Liga. He had positive moments at Real Valladolid and consolidated his career when he moved to Getafe, where he became a regular starter and a central figure in the attack. At Getafe, he showed physical development, improved ball retention and maintained his goal-scoring ability, becoming a more complete player. Ünal currently plays for AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League, however he is recovering from a serious ACL injury in his knee.

For the Turkish national team, Enes Ünal progressed from the youth teams to the main team, where he was frequently called up, participating in the Qualifiers and continental competitions, having played 34 matches and scored 3 goals so far.
