INFO:Mohammad Afash is considered one of the most prominent legends of Syrian football, having enjoyed an exceptional professional career spanning more than ten years in the Greek league with Prodevnikki and Ionikos. He began and culminated his career at Al-Ittihad Aleppo, and was a key player for the Syrian national team in the 1996 AFC Asian Cup finals and five consecutive World Cup qualifiers. He distinguished himself as the first Syrian to participate in European competitions and was renowned for his exceptional technical skill and unique ability to score goals from direct corner kicks and free kicks. After retiring from playing, he transitioned to administration and successfully led Al-Ittihad as president to their historic AFC Cup title in 2010.
