INFOS:

Peter Møller was a Danish striker who had success at several Danish clubs. He is the 3rd highest scorer in Danish Superliga with 135 goals, scored with AaB, Brøndby IF and FC København. During his time at AaB he was the league's top scorer twice in a row in the 1991/92 and 92/93 seasons, despite his young age at the time. He also played 20 games for the Danish national team and scored at the 1998 World Cup. During his AaB years he was a striker focused mostly on scoring, with good pace despite his tall figure, although he was quite lanky and didn't use his strength too often. With such height you'd expect him to be a target man but actually he preferred running with the ball at his feet instead of battling for the ball in the air. He was mostly on the shoulder of the centre backs, trying to turn past them with his good dribbling skills. However he was quite static when he didn't have the ball at his feet. He was also a pretty good penalty taker.

By joining Copenhagen in 2001 Møller became hated by fans of both his new club and the team where he arguably had his best years, their rivals Brøndby. He was so hated by Copenhagen's fans when he first joined that they refused to say his name, only referring to him as "Number 32", after his shirt number. In time he would win them over with his charisma, fighting spirit and ability on the pitch. In this era Møller had become more of a target man, using his size effectively to hold off defenders and get on the end of aerial balls. With his older age, he was no longer able to dribble past defenders and get in behind them as effectively, so he adapted his game. He was much more threatening in the air and more interested in linking up with his fellow attackers, especially Sibusiso Zuma. While he wasn't anywhere near the goal threat he was in his earlier days, and he often didn't play the full 90 minutes, he was still an effective presence due to his clear strengths in certain areas.
