Attack MindedINFO:Criniti was a centre forward or winger. He grew up at Catanzaro, playing in the first team from 1987 to 1991. He then joined Cagliari, playing 22 matches and scoring 2 goals in his first season. He stayed with the
Rossoblu for two more years, scoring a total of 5 goals in 51 games. He played for many other clubs throughout his long career, including Palermo, Avellino, Brescia, Reggina, Triestina, Catania, Perugia and Varese. He retired in 2009.
Criniti was a good player, mainly used as reserve during his time in Serie A. In fact, he was mostly effective when coming as substitute. He wasn't tall but had a good physique, was gifted with good technique and was able with both feet. He was quick and preferred making short sprints. He was an opportunist and had nice acrobatic qualities but wasn't a prolific scorer. He gave his best outside of the box thanks to his movements. For that reason, he often preferred to pass the ball instead of shooting. Decisive was his goal against Ascoli in 1991-92, when he scored with a header after a good leap.
