INFO:Zarincheh is a former right back or right wing back, capable of playing as centre back and later as sweeper. His career began in 1985 at Tehran Gendarmerie. Two years later, he transferred to Esteghlal, where he spent the majority of his career, playing there from 1987 to 1991 and from 1993 to 2003, making 305 appearances, 136 of which as captain. He played also for Keshavarz and Saba Kom, retiring in 2004. He capped for Iran 80 times, scoring once.
Considered one of the best right backs in Iran football history, Zarincheh was a well celebrated right back in Iran, distinguished in particular for his offensive prowess and excellent crossing skills. He provided the assist for Iran's first goal in the legendary win against USA at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, which is the most important cross, and for many the best, of his career. Zarincheh possessed a fit physique, good tactical intelligence, reading of the game, the ability to make superb runs down the flank and sudden change of direction. These qualities allowed him to take an advantage on his opponent and send the ball to the box with either a straight or a diagonal cross. He could do so even in difficult conditions as he would deliver a strong low shot towards the middle of the area in order to surprise the goalkeeper. Although he was sometimes deployed as centre back, especially in his later years when it became one of his main positions, Zarincheh wasn't as effective as he was as right back because he wasn't fast anymore and avoided most physical contacts.
