Eissa Meer, twin brother of Ibrahim, is a former right-back. He spent his entire career at Sharjah from 1985 to 1995. He capped for the United Arab Emirates at least 29 times, taking part to the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Although he wasn't as good as his brother Ibrahim, Eissa Meer is still considered one of the best right-backs in the history of the United Arab Emirates. While his brother had a balanced style of play, Eissa seemed more focused on defending, helped by a stronger physique in comparison to Ibrahim. He stayed close to his own area, ready to covering the space in front of his opponents, stopping them with a slide tackle or rejecting a shot. Of course, he was far from flawless but he still did a solid job.
