INFOS:Germán Adrián Ramón Burgos (born April 16, 1969 in Mar del Plata), nicknamed Mono (monkey), is a former Argentine football goalkeeper who played 35 times for the Argentina national team between 1995 and 2002.
Playing careerBurgos spent his club career with Ferro Carril Oeste, River Plate, Mallorca, and Atlético Madrid. He retired after the 2003-04 season.
He was the backup goalkeeper for Argentina at the 1998 and 2002 World Cups.
Managerial careerIn 2010 the former goalkeeper managed the RCD Carabanchel in Spain. He then was assistant to Diego Simeone at Catania and he moved along with Simeone to take charge at Racing Club.
