INFOLyuboslav Mladenov Penev is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player. Striker who could make a solid pass, pretty mobile despite the giant size. Strong, tall, with good technique and speed, ability to work and sacrifice on the field and for his indomitable and nonconformist spirit, which made him the protagonist of almost all conflictive moments with rivals and referees. An insatiable and almost infallible scorer from the penalty point, he also dared with direct free kicks and his leadership on the field ended up making him captain of the team. Insurmountable in the aerial game, he was the terror of the rival defenses when he appeared in the area, and he had a tremendous shot that allowed him to overcome almost all the goalkeepers in the League. With CSKA Penev won the championship twice (1987 and 1989) and Bulgaria's Cup three times (1987, 1988 and 1989). In 1989, only 23 years old, became a player on the Spanish giants Valencia. Elected best player of Bulgaria in 1988. There are 62 matches and 13 goals for the national team. In 1989 he moved into the Spanish La Liga. In Penev played for Spain: Valencia, Atletico Madrid, SD Compostela and Celta Vigo. At his strong performance in Spain during the 1995-1996 season with Atlético, when the club became champion and won the Spanish Cup. Penev was the best scorer of the team scoring 22 goals in 44 games. Sample participate in the formulation of the national team EURO'96 in England and the World in 1998 in France. At the Euro 1996 in England in the match against France on preliminary groups Penev scored an own goal. At the end of World Cup qualifiers for the championship in 1998 in France, Penev received amnesty and returned to the representative team of Bulgaria.
