Bisoli was a central midfielder, who could play also as central or side midfielder and in his later career as centre back. He spent the best time of his career at Cagliari from 1991 to 1997, playing 188 matches and scoring 5 goals. Throughout his career, he played also for Pistoiese, Alessandria, Empoli, Perugia and Brescia among others. He retired in 2003.
Bisoli was a good midfielder, who had in strength and stamina his best qualities. He was comfortable with both feet, his shots had good power, he had decent heading and passing ability. He wasn't fast but tried to keep up the pace participating at both attacking and defensive phases throughout the whole match. He supported well the forwards while he didn't seem always effective when he had to defend.
