INFO:

One of the most complete and the best midfielders in history IMO. Andi had everything: excellent technique, great passes (especially long), fantastic speed (he run 100 meters in 10.09 seconds), good heading abilities, very powerful and precise shot and great free kicks. He played from 1985 to 2004 in 429 games (110 goals) as a midfielder in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04, and for Juventus in Serie A. The midfielder began his career at Eintracht Frankfurt. When he was Borussia performers, but returned in the summer of 1990 returned to Frankfurt. Moller decided for the 1992/93 season to leave the harmony again, and ventured abroad for the Italian Serie A club Juventus. The Old Lady of Turin won Möller 1993 UEFA Cup. Opponents on 5 and 19 May was his former and future employer, Borussia Dortmund. Juve won the final with a 3-1 and 3-0 clear. In both games, Moeller was in the starting XI and scored the third goal in the return game. Although he performed well, he was already two years later to Germany where he signed for the second time with Borussia Dortmund. A total of six years he was playing ball club, scored goals regularly and he had some periods of use. Especially in the years 1995 and 1996 champion showed his class as a playmaker Möller, rigger and scorer. It was at this time as one of the most prolific midfielder. The greatest success at club level secured Möller in the Champions League in 1996/97, when they reached the final. Again, the opponent is a former employer Moller. Juventus said on 28 May 1997, the opponents in Munich's Olympic Stadium. The footballers won 3-1 Ruhrpott against European top club. In the 89th Möller minute was replaced by Michael Zorc. After two good years followed in the 2002-03 season back a sporting decline and Moeller was more and more a complementary player. Although he came under coach Frank Neubarth and later Marc Wilmots to 22 games, but it was nine times one-or replaced. On 2 March 2004 he announced the end of his career and ended his active professional career. In 1987 he took the U-20 national team at the World Cup in Chile and was runner-up here. In the national team he played from 1988 to 1999 in 85 games, scoring 29 goals, four times he led this team as captain. He took part in three World Cups, including the title in 1990 in Italy. His personal best tournament in the national team but he played at the World Championships 1996 in England. In the semi-final against the English national team captain and he converted the decisive penalty of the penalty shoot-outs. This brought the Germans to the final burden, for which he was disabled due to two yellow cards. After ending his active career Möller made together with other ex-pros like Dieter Eilts in the German Sports University in Cologne, the coach ticket.

Campionato d'Europa: 1

should have won the Ballon d'Or instead of Sammer to be completed

Andreas Möller: 100 meters 10.09 sec.
Claudio Caniggia: 100 meters it goes from 10.00 to 10.20 to 10.50 to 10.79 to 11.20 sec. I don't know which is correct now.

Andy's parents were athletes , mainly runners

Here some verbal notes I took while watching this great player again:

Well his best era should be around 1992-1993/95 actually but usually he was never as good in the NT as he was with his club thanks to Vogts who was rather a player selector than knowing anything about tactics although I have have heard how much he understands about football and did a lot for german football behind the scenes that shows its results.
But I remember Vogts best for the ,,ignore midfield , shoot the ball from the defence to attack and lets see what the strikers can do with it'' then its obvious that a player like Möller was nearly useless especially in the late 90's when Bierhoff became a regular starter because he could do something with these long balls and the midfield was at 0 by the time.
After the WC 1998 Möller was one of the players that got most of the blames , that the team had no creativity in midfield , no playmaker and it was all about long balls and crosses , needless to say that Vogts completely forgot some ''real'' playmakers or attacking midfielders like Effenberg , Scholl and some others , Vogts had always somebody to blame , in 1994 it was Effenberg and in particular Illgner saying ,, My only mistake was that I decided me for the wrong goalkeeper'' , in 1998 it was Möller and the referees.

Just now I'm reviewing some of the 1994 games and there is no clear line they try to play , Hässler is running around everywhere between attack and midfield at least trying to create something , Buchwald is killing everything infront of the defence , Matthäus kicks the ball forward like a quarterback in american football and so on BUT! the game so so much more intense, energic and fast and even more dangerous in attack then what the team is doing nowadays.

Something I had in mind for a while now is that his long passing doesnt need to be so high, I remember JeanMarc being very impressed by his long passing but I'm not so convinced, he should not be so close or even above so many other players , just changing lane doesnt require this much LPA .
1-Touch Play could also be removed , except headers I see nothing he would benefit from it .

Form 5->4 , could eventually be lowerd further

Naka, are you really sure about FKA/CUR for his late years? IMO he shouldn't be on a level with Böhme and Beinlich there, those two were IMO more dangerous FK takers during those years (there was a reason why Böhme took almost every FK and not Möller)..
Also I'd rather swap TS & ACC, he still had good speed for a player in his age but I remember him rather as fast over short distances and not over long distance..
Btw, shouldn't he have Passing among SA? He still was able to make great passes and his assists were one of the main reasons why Ebbe Sand won the "Torjägerkanone" in 2001 ;)
