Marcelo Salas is, maybe, the best Chilean striker in History. He was born in Temuco on the Xmas Eve.

He started his career in the Chilean Club "Universidad de Chile CF", on a match at Chilean Cup against Colchagua in 1993, the fans of the Team gave him the Nickname of "Matador", in allusion to a radio hit song at the moment "El Matador" by "Los Fabulosos Cadillacas".

Playing for Universidad de Chile, being a key player in the Team, and scoring 74 goals in 3 seasons. At march the 13º he played his 100º match for the "U"; and in 1996 he played the semi-finals of the Libertadores Cup against River Plate, being defeated by them.

He was traspassed to River Plate in 1996 and scored his first goal against the classical rival of River, Boca Juniors, in September 30º at the Bombonera Stadium. He won 3 Argentiian Tournaments, the South American Supercup in 1997, and he was chosen as the best player of the Argentinian League and the best South American Player in 1997.

In the France '98 WC he scored 4 goals, becoming one of the top scorers of Chile in the WC, among with Guillermo Subiabre and Leonel Sánchez. After the WC, he signted in SS Lazio, in this club he played with some of the best players in the world at the moment, such as Pavel Nedved, Alessandro Nesta and Christian Vieri. The team won 2 Italian Supercups (1998, 2000), the Italian League in 2000, the European Re-Cup and the European Supercup in 1999.

He was signed for Juventus in 2001, but he suffered an injury in his right knee in a match against Bolognia FC, he never would be the same player he was. In 2003 he returned to River Plate, where he won the Closing Tournament in 2004. In 2005 he returned to the Universidad de Chile, he played there untill 2009. In June 2º he played a special match for his retirement of the activity, in the National Stadium in Chile.

The era is wrong he came to lazio in 1998 not in 1997.

ATT can be higher, I don't see 3 points of difference with Zamorano. 92 or the same 93.
His Response can be grown 1 point. And his SA and ST can be 88 and 92.
Also his Jump and HA. 93-94 and 94-95.
