Damir Čakar is a former Montenegrin footballer and one of Partizan greats. He's the best ever player in history of his hometown club Rudar Pljevlja. He could play in midfield or forward line, but mostly played as attacking midfielder who had good eye for goal, surging forward at any given opportunity. He's mostly known for his rocket shot and magnificent free kicks and penalties. He was strong on the ball, slow on sprints but could develop decent speed on long distances. He often used his outside of the boot while shooting. He was excellent free kick taker from both short and long distances. He could deliver great crosses, which had much speed, and he created a lot of chances to his teammates that way. His short passes, weren't that good. Bearing in mind his tall stature, he wasn't good in aerial battles. Most of his career he spent with Partizan with whom he won four league titles and participated in historic Champions League 2003/04 season (Serbian club for the first time ever qualified to Champions League). He played for national team only three times.
