Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Defence MindedINFO:Ahmed Madani is a former Saudi defender and a key figure in their golden generation. He had pretty good positioning and tackling but his main attribute was his fantastic aerial ability with which he cleared wave upon wave of opposition attacks and also scored a few important goals, including a last minute equaliser against South Korea to help qualify for the 1994 World Cup. He was also considered a great leader and motivator of his teammates: he captained both club and country in his career. Despite this he suffered many injuries in his career that stopped him from becoming a more prominent figure in Asian football history, although he is considered a legend in Saudi Arabia for his good performances in 1994, especially in the victory over Belgium where he dominated the box for 90 minutes, clearing every cross that came towards him.
