BalancedINFO:Biffi was a sweeper, centre back or defensive midfielder. He grew up at Milan and appeared in a few matches with the first team in the 1982-83 season. Then he played at Foggia, Modena, Prato and Mantova before joining Palermo in 1988. He spent eleven seasons with the
Rosanero, playing over 350 matches and probably scored over 20 goals. He's still holds the record for most games in the history of Palermo. He retired in 2006.
Biffi was a strong defensive player, careful at covering the space and help his teammates. He was capable though to set up the action and even to finish it. He was gifted with a powerful long range shot and his ability from free kick made him score many times. His most important goal is arguably the one he scored against Monza in the last match of the 1993-94 Serie B season and thanks to which Palermo avoided the relegation. He was also tough and had a prominent temperament due to which he received several red cards throughout his career.
