INFO:Sinton is a former left side midfielder or left winger. He played once as side-back with England for necessity and, despite not looking bad, he was clearly out of his natural position. He spent most of his career at Brentford and Queens Park Rangers, respectively playing 182 matches with 34 goals from 1985 to 1989 and 190 games with 25 goals from 1989 to 1993. He was an ever-present at QPR for three consecutive First Division seasons and missed only two matches in his last season with the club. He played also for other clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Moreover he capped 12 times for England between 1991 and 1993. He retired in 2007.
Sinton was a talented hard-working and creative player with good tactical brain and ball control, able to create many scoring chances. He was skillful, agile and very fast, especially with the ball at his feet, and could make his move even when he didn't have much space. His fast runs down the flank and dribbling ability were a threat for even the toughest defenders. He could deliver fast and accurate crosses, mainly right-footed but he was capable to use also the left foot as well as the outside either to pass or shoot. He was also effective from the distance or with first-time touches. Not gifted with good strength, he fell easily when an opponent stopped him on the run.
