Steve Chettle is former Nottingham Forest defender and is third in all-time appearances for the club. He was initially a central defender, but could also play as side back on both sides. He used to join attack and could pose a threat both with headers or shots. He possessed decent speed, he was mobile and always in opposite penalty area when his team had a corner kick. However, he didn't possess enough quality to earn an international cap. With Nottingham Forest he won two League Cups.
