INFOS:

Ilić is a legendary Partizan captain and a player with the most games in history of the club. When he debuted in a game against Borac, wearing number 1 shirt, no one could have predicted that he'll become one of the legends of the club. Playing at the attacking midfielder position, he turned the attention on him with great dribbling and ball control, excellent short passes and most of all, his extraordinary scoring ability. Even though he was a midfielder, he possessed the ability like great strikers, to find himself at the right place at the right time in the box. In adition to that, he possessed good shooting skills. He was amongst club top scorers for a few seasons. When he matured as a player, he played a more deeper role as a playmaker, his passing ability improved and he was able to connect his teammate with opposition goal via short or even lofted passes. He was never a fast player, and also didn't run much, but he developed excellent understanding with his teammates. He was active in defending his goal, especially against stronger teams He gained 37 caps for the NT, but according to many experts, he deserved much more. He still remains the greatest Partizan player in the 21st century.
