Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Attack MindedINFO:Thomas Enevoldsen is a Danish football most remembered for his time at Aalborg and Groningen. At Aalborg he was part of the team that won the Danish Superliga in the 07/08 season. He also played 11 games for Denmark, including one game at the 2010 World Cup. Enevoldsen was a midfielder or forward, mainly playing in a central or left sided attacking midfield position. His best attribute was his powerful shot which he didn't hesitate to show off at any opportunity. In fact, his first three goals for Groningen combined as part of an absolutely spectacular first-half hat-trick of long shots all in a game against Sparta Rotterdam. Other than this he was pretty quick and direct and liked to make runs into the box from his midfield positions. He also showed some pretty good close control. He wasn't a particularly creative player on the other hand, although he got a pretty good amount of assists in his career mainly from his penetrating runs behind the defence. He also had quite a bad temper and could lose his head when frustrated, and he wasn't the most committed player. After his two most successful seasons of his career as an individual player (09/10 and 10/11), he was struck down by injuries in the 11/12 season and his career never really recovered or hit the heights it could have. He also had a good return spell at Aalborg from 2014 to 2017 and is a fondly remembered part of their history.
