Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Attack MindedINFO:Yasser Al-Qahtani was a striker mostly remembered for his performances with Al-Hilal and the Saudi Arabian national team, also winner of the Asian Player of the Year in 2007. Of all the Saudi strikers, he is probably the one that had the most natural scoring instinct. He was a predator inside the box, always able to free himself from marking and with killer reflexes to capitalise on defensive errors. He was also gifted with good heading skills and excellent shooting ability, he was known for his brilliant volleys and for his finishing from difficult positions. And he also had solid technical skills, he wasn't just a poacher. He could even score from free kicks. All that compensated for his average physical attributes, since he wasn't tall, strong or very fast. Actually he's even considered to not have fulfilled his full potential, because when he was at his peak he started suffering injuries and weight gain that led to inconsistent form, although he still scored quite regularly. He was unlucky not to win an international tournament for club or country, as he finished runner up at the 2007 Asian Cup (where he was the top scorer), and lost in the final of the AFC Champions League in 2014 and 2017. He is Saudi Arabia's 3rd top scorer with 42 goals and scored at the 2006 World Cup.
