INFO:Jaïdi is a former centre-back. His career started in 1993 at Ésperance Tunis where he played 288 matches and scored 20 goals in eleven seasons. He then transferred to England where he spent the rest of his career until his retirement. He played for Bolton Wanderers from 2004 to 2006, Birmingham City from 2006 to 2009, Southampton from 2009 to 2012. He capped for Tunisia 105 times, scoring 7 goals and winning the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.
A tall and very strong defender, Jaïdi wasn't the most gifted from a technical standpoint and his big size didn't help him in terms of pace, but he knew how to protect the ball once he won it from an opponent. He could use both feet and possessed a decent shooting ability despite lacking notable technique. He was efficient in man marking, also thanks to his frame, and was solid in the tackles, though sometimes rough. The combination of his height, a good jump and an excellent heading skill allowed him to be a threat in the attack during set piece and to score numerous goals.
