Gilardino was a centre forward. He had his best time in his early career at Parma from 2002 to 2005, scoring 56 goals in 116 matches, mostly in the last two seasons. After a less successful spell at Milan from 2005 to 2008 − still scoring 44 goals in 132 games − he found himself again at Fiorentina. He played for the Viola from 2008 to 2011 plus the second half of the 2014-15 seasonl, scoring in total 63 times in 157 matches. He played also for Piacenza, Hellas Verona, Genoa, Bologna, Guangzhou Evergrande, Palermo, Empoli, Pescara and Spezia, where he retired in 2018. He gained 57 caps for Italy, scoring 19 goals and winning the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Gilardino was the typical opportunist striker, who preferred waiting inside the box for the ball to arrive from a cross. He had good strength, leap and reaction in front of the goal. He could score with headers, first time and acrobatic shots − accurate rather than powerful. Thanks to a good physique and a fine basic technique, he could protect the ball well. He was right-footed but since his time at Parma, he improved his accuracy with the left foot.

His scoring rate between 2003-05 was 0,2 higher than it was between 2005 and 2011. Watching his goals, I see a bit more power in his shots during his Parma days. On the other hand he didn't score at Parma as many headers than he did at Fiorentina. In my opinion his movements when dribbling were never that quick while in the second he seems to me just too fast. Both free kick and curling are also overrated for me. Regarding the second set, I don't think he needs yellow stamina and green mentality.

I honestly find it weird that no one mentions those strange values for CON/CONS here..
Gilardino was never that constant in any point of his career, he was solid in it while playing for Parma and again for Fiorentina (but certainly not worth 8) but at Milan he was incredibly inconsistant. I also fail to see why the second set goes from 2005 to 2011, he certainly wasn't on the same level during those years..
Darting Run and Free Roaming can also be removed from cards as they don't work for CFs.

Updated and second set shorten to only the period at Fiorentina. Does anyone have anything else to suggest?
