Bresciano is a former side, attacking or central midfielder and winger, mostly deployed on the left. His career began in 1995 in Australia, where he played for Bulleen Lions, and Carlton. In 1999 he transferred to Italy, where he had a good three-year spell at Empoli, playing 81 matches and scoring 18 goals. He eventually had his best time at Parma from 2002 to 2006 and Palermo from 2006 to 2010, respectively making 143 and 120 appearances, and scoring 22 and 16 goals. He retired in 2015 after experiences with Lazio, Saudi team Al-Nasr, and Qatari team Al-Gharafa. He capped for Australia 84 times, scoring 13 goals.
One of the most talented Australian players of his time, Bresciano was distinguished for versatility, eye for goal, great stamina, the quantity and quality he added to his team's play. He possessed good pace, accuracy on both feet, and technical skills that enabled him to control the ball well, sprint forward, dribble an opponent. Gifted with a notable ball distribution, he could deliver accurate and fast crosses from the side, or play the ball with short passes to the wingers or through passes forward when he was deployed in a more central role. A very good finisher, most of his goals came from powerful strikes, volleys, in acrobacy, from angled positions or while turning. Sometimes he showed notable positioning and timing in front of the goal, tapping the ball in or taking advantage of a bad clearance by the opposition defence. A good set piece taker, he was often in charge of corners and free kicks, although he happened to score from free kick only with Australia. On the other hand, he scored once from direct corner kick with Parma.

This set seems accurate to me. If something has to be changed, I'd say that DEF, RES and AGI could go down by 2 points and MEN can go on 78-79. His shooting ability was about power and technique rather than accuracy. Therefore I'd go for SA 77, SP 84 and ST 83-84. I wouldn't give him SS position to be honest. I add these two videos:

After watching the 2006 WC, I believe this set is almost perfect. Bresciano was indeed a game changer for the NT, and this set pictures him very well. Would even agree with upping his SP and ST by a point.

Ah, and for a nickname, "Bresh", and maybe "Marco", as many teammates and press members wouldn't call him "Mark".
