Clodoaldo Chagas Ferreira, known only as Clodoaldo, was a footballer from Ceará born in 1978. He was known for his goal-scoring ability and for making many goals that covered the goalkeeper - the famous cavadinhas-, even though he was short, he was very good in the area because he always knew where to position himself to receive the ball. Controversial idol of Fortaleza EC, for also playing in the biggest rival, Clodoaldo won 7 "Campeonato Cearense", 5 for Fortaleza and 2 for Ceará, being top scorer on two occasions. It is the third highest scorer in Fortaleza (according to wikipedia) or second (according to Fortaleza's official website), scoring 127 for the Cearense club. A controversial player, he was also known for his off-field problems, such as party addiction, car accident and was even arrested at the end of a game. The fact is that Clodoaldo is one of the greatest players in the State of Ceará, becoming nationally known after the "Funk do Clodô", a crowd song made in honor of him.
