INFO:Schwoch is a former centre forward. His career began in 1987. He played in lower leagues and then in Serie C2 for Spal, Pavia and Livorno. He joined Ravenna in Serie C1 for the 1995-96 season, obtaining an immediate promotion to Serie B. He then spent the rest of his career in Italy's second division except half of the 1998-99 Serie A season with Venezia, where he didn't impress enough. He was sold to Napoli back in January 1999 and scored 32 goals in 66 matches in a season and a half, obtaining a Serie A promotion. He then spent the 2000-01 season at Torino before joining Vicenza, where he made 236 appearances in seven years, scoring 81 goals. He retired in 2008.
Schwoch was a prolific scorer in Serie B. Strong and skillful, he could overcome the opposing defenders by protecting the ball and making turns. He possessed good technique, nice heading ability, a powerful shot, could use both feet and was reactive in front of the goal. Quick and relentless, he was the last man to give up even though he moved constantly and was almost unstoppable when he had enough space to run towards of the goal. In fact, he was an opportunist who effectively beat the offside with a sprint. He also proved to be an able penalty taker especially at Napoli and Vicenza.
