Ruggero Radice ─ son of Luigi Radice ─ is a former left back and left wing back. His career began in 1990 at Monza, where he played until 1996 ─ excluding the loan to Leffe in 1991-92. He then had experiences at Avellino, Como and Spal before joining Siena in 2000. He made 117 appearances with the Bianconeri, being part of the team that reached the first historic Serie A promotion in 2003. Unfortunately, he wasn't confirmed and transferred to Piacenza. He then played for other clubs including Cremonese and retired in 2009.
Radice was a strong defender despite not having a big physique. He possessed good sprint, decent ball control and long passing ability. In fact, he preferred delivering the ball to a far teammates instead of passing it or advance forward with it. He was mainly defensive and joined the attack only during set pieces. He could then receive the ball and look for some space to deliver a cross.
