INFOS:

One of the greatest players ever to emerge from Denmark, and also, one of Denmark greatest coaches. Morten Olsen was a versatile player whose technical and playmaking skills were always an asset for the both club and NT. In his later years, his defensive skills improved a lot, and his commanding presence in Anderlecht team was one of key factors for their successes during 80's. Along with incredible understanding of the game, his acceleration was his advantage against opposition players. Blessed with good technique and great passing skills, he never hesitated to join the attack, and to dictate tempo of the game. Despite his age, he was tireless runner, who was able to make surging runs through the opposition defense, even in the late period of the game. He was extremely calm in every situation, whether he was at the center of the pitch, or in his penalty box surrounded with opposition attackers, and always finding a solution. As a player and a coach, he spent 34 years with the national team.
