Legendary Velež sweeper, a player who spent his whole career with the club, "Dada" was a defender with offensive affinities, he liked to join the attack and help his team building the actions where his technical and passing abilities came handy. Strong, combative player, he was club captain for several seasons. He wasn't too fast, but that didn't stop him from trying some solo runs. He was excellent in aerial game, and he was a threat whenever is a corner kick for Velež. He was the captain of the club who lifted cup trophy in 1986. Because of his abilities, he was also used in midfield.
