INFO:Worawan is a former central midfielder. His career began in 1980 at Rajpracha. After a season in 1985 with Japanese team Teijin in the country's second division, he became one of the few Thai to play in Europe, when he transferred to Danish club Frederikshavn in 1986. He then played for Viborg between 1987 and 1990 with good success. As a Viborg's player, he took part to the 1990 Asian Games with Thailand national team. With Thailand, he also won three Southeast Asian Games and six King's Cups. He retired in 1995 after a second spell at Rajpracha and one at Bangkok Bank.
One of the most talented and creative players in Thailand history, Worawan was distinguished for his leaderership in the midfield. He was a complete midfielder, who possessed good ball control and the ability to deliver accurate passes, especially with pinpoint crosses from the back. Moreover, he could score. He wasn't notably fast but he fought fiercely. In fact, he usually showed his skills from the start of the match and kept running to recover balls.
