INFO:
Ba Eusebio is a former left-back or left-sided midfielder. He started his career in his native country Senegal, playing for Jeanne d'Arc from 1970 to 1972 and Daraf from 1973 to 1977. He then had his most memorable time in France where he played for Havre from 1977 to 1982, making more than 140 appearances and scoring at least 11 goals. He was signed as left-winger but found his place as defender and midfielder. He had a major role in Havre's promotion to Ligue 2. He retired in 1984 after spending two seasons at Abbeville, still in France. A member and captain of the Senegal national team from 1976 to 1982, it's unknown how many caps he has. He's the father of former Bordeaux and Milan player Ibrahim Ba.
Nicknamed "Eusebio" for his similarities in style of play with the Portuguese legendary striker, Ba is one of the best left-backs in Senegal's history, and often considered the best the country has ever produced. He had great talent, high pace and remarkable technical skill. He was elegant in the movement and prone to join the attack, mainly to provide his forwards with accurate crosses. He also scored a fair number of goals thanks to his magic left foot. In addition, he was a great leader and rightfully earned the captain role for his national team.
